Richard specializes in videos on history & politics. He also has expertise in finding & using public domain archival film. Retired in 2021 after 30 years with C-SPAN. Richard also dabbles in painting & drawing & song writing & guitar playing.

Interviewed numerous authors, journalists, politicians & many others for broadcast on C-SPAN
Co-facilitated the Docs in Progress/Women in Film and Video Roundtable from 2012 to 2023
